Characteristics

YDN516 is a methylated urea-formaldehyde resin that can be used as a bridging agent for hydroxyl-functional polymers in water-based or organic solvents.

YDN516 does not require solvents, can cure quickly at low temperatures, has good compatibility, excellent stability, and low cost.

When used for rapid curing of YDN516 resin/alcohol-acid resin baking paint, no acid catalyst is required, and the curing speed of the paint is almost twice as fast as that of traditional butylated urea-formaldehyde resin when drying for a short time or not drying at all.

YDN516 is compatible with most resins, including alcohol-acid, polyester, acrylic, and epoxy.
