YDN5130 is a highly alkylated melamine-formaldehyde resin. It is a multi-purpose crosslinking agent for widely used polymers such as water-borne and organic solvent containing carboxyl, hydroxyl, or amide groups, such as epoxy resins, alkyd resins, polyester resins, acrylic resins, and polyethylene polymers and cellulose.
YDN5130 resin is soluble in most organic solvents. Although it is insoluble in water, the resin can be arbitrarily diluted and mixed in most water-borne resin systems.
